From the moment Joe Kubert first opened the school in 1976 until his retirement in 2007, Irwin Hasen was a well respected member of our faculty. Still active at 93, the New York Times recently ran an article on the creator of "Dondi".

2008 Kubert School graduate Zane DeGaine provided artwork used as set dressing for the CBS comedy show THE BIG BANG THEORY.
Zane was commissioned by the production department of the hit show to provide artwork which would be used as dressing for the show's comic shop set.

Joe Kubert, and his son Adam, to be special guests of the Israeli Museum of Comics and Caricature, at Animix 11, the International Animation, Comics and Caricature Festival, August 16th through the 20th.
Recent 2011 Kubert School graduate Carli Ihde, will be providing the finished artwork for DC Comics HELLBLAZER #285 written by Peter Milligan.
Flashpoint is the huge summer event for DC Comics, written by Geoff Johns, penciled by Andy Kubert, and inks by Sandra Hope.
