Adult Summer Sessions: Acquire the secrets of Cartooning from Professional Artists with our Summer sessions.
SUMMER 2026
Classes Begin Monday, June 29th (NO CLASS ON JULY 3RD!)
Summer sessions are held at The Joe Kubert School during July and August. Four week programs are broken down by week.
WEEK 1 – CHARACTER DESIGN
- Develop your own MANGA or SUPERHERO characters! We’ll use creative exercises to unleash your imagination!
WEEK 2 – SEQUENTIAL STORYTELLING
- Learn how to tell a story using pictures! Bring your stories to life by means of your drawings!
WEEK 3 – PENCILING AND INKING
- Discover the basics of penciling comics from “roughs” to finished pencils! Solve the mystery of how to use pens and brushes to INK FINISHED PENCILS!
WEEK 4 – COLOR ILLUSTRATION
- Learn how to color your comics! We’ll explore BOTH TRADITIONAL and DIGITAL METHODS! Bring your creations to Life with Color!

- Each 1-month summer sessions package deal costs $975
- Monday – Friday from 9am – 3pm
- Registration is now open and enrollment is limited.
- Month of July dates: June 29th through July 24th (No Class on July 3rd)
- Month of August dates: July 27th though August 21st
