I first started doing comics in the fall of 1979, after attending the Joe Kubert School for the previous two years. I had been drawing all of my life and through the school, I found a way to make a living from my art. Ever since then, I have been drawing and painting for a living. And for the past 34 years, I have been a teacher at the Kubert School.

The first monthly book I worked on was inking Defenders for Marvel Comics. Other titles I worked on are Nick Fury, Robocop, Captain America, etc and a five year run inking Swamp Thing for DC Comics. I’ve inked over 5000 pages of comic book art in my time! I was also awarded Best Mixed Media Art at DragonCon in 2006, and voted Teacher of the Year at the Kubert School in 2015.
